Next Thursday, December 2, at 16:30 hours the VIRATEC Cluster will present at the Feuga headquarters the draft bill to improve the integral water cycle, with the presence of Teresa Gutiérrez, director of Augas de Galicia.

The event, which will last 1 hour, will also have the president of the Cluster, Marcos Martín, in charge of the welcome. After the presentation, an open discussion will be organized among the attendees and a closing networking coffee will be offered. Registration is free and can be done through this page.

The draft bill aims to consolidate a regulatory framework to support municipalities in their responsibilities for water supply, sanitation and treatment. This new management model is intended not only to guarantee the quality of services to citizens, but also to collaborate with local entities in the face of the proven technical and financial difficulties faced by many municipalities.

This legal framework establishes instruments of cooperation between the administrations with competences in the matter, Xunta, Diputaciones and Ayuntamientos with the foresight that Augas de Galicia can assume the management of the water cycle of the municipalities that request it.
